India’s Ingredient Transparency Toolkit

Designed PDPs (product description pages) for Johnson's Baby core products in India, focusing on enhancing clarity and communication. This involved collaborating with CGI vendors to create updated renderings of bottles and labels, and developing short animations that illustrated ingredient efficacy and product functionality.

Old Product Description Pages for Web

The existing web design faced several usability and communication challenges, including low readability and an outdated, disconnected product image. Brand icons lacked clarity and engagement, offering minimal value to the consumer. There was also no dedicated space to explain how key ingredients support skin health. Additionally, the ingredient list was overly long and overwhelming, calling for a more dynamic and user-friendly way to highlight essential information.

NEW Product Description Pages for Web

Developed a new visual system to clearly communicate the ingredient breakdown, organizing components into three overarching categories: those formulated for baby’s skin, those ensuring product safety and preservation, and those related to fragrance. Redesigned the full ingredient list as a dropdown feature—providing curious consumers with access to detailed information, while maintaining a streamlined and approachable experience for the casual viewer.

CGI Renders

Worked closely with CGI vendor to re-render our bottles in a fresh and modern way, including a colorful background as well as bringing the product to life by displaying the texture and form. Created two versions to display the formula.

Educational Animations

Developed short animations for each product to explain the MOA (mechanism of action) for the active ingredients so that consumers could easily understand what makes the product effective.
